‘Mechanics for Business’   Getting people, equipment and processes working together

HOW WE THINK

EMPOWER | ENGAGE | PERFORM

IT IS VERY EASY TO MAKE OPERATING A BUSINESS FAR MORE COMPLEX THAN IT NEEDS TO BE. WHEN IT COMES TO SOLVING PROBLEMS AND IMPROVING PERFORMANCE, MANY OWNERS AND MANAGERS STRUGGLE TO DETERMINE WHERE TO START.

What we know is that operational performance is a direct result of what happens (and does not happen) each day in organisations. We have seen many failed attempts focused on ‘fixing disengaged people’ with minimal impact on the bottom-line. Sure, people are important, but that’s not necessary where we start.

WE SHOW ORGANISATIONS HOW TO DELIVER IMPROVED OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE BY BALANCING EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEE EMPOWERMENT.

Attempting to improve operations through the traditional ‘organisational culture’ lens will rarely address the problems of a dysfunctional ‘BUSINESS GEARBOX’. Our ‘mechanical-first’ approach enables us to easily distinguish between ‘organisational personality’ and ‘operational culture’.

We support organisations to build an engaged workforce, but only after the way the business is supposed to work has been clearly defined.
